Calibration Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is actively recruting for a leading pharmaceutical company in Denver, CO.

Qualified candidates will be responsible with:

• Maintenance, repair and calibration of their automated "pill press" machinery
• extensive knowledge in:Industrial equipment, pharmaceutical, biotech, food manufacturing equipment, PLC, VFDs, electrical controls, thermocouples, pnuematics, stepper motors, 480v, servo drives, control loops, transducers, 3 phase motors, calibration, gauges documentation, GMP, safety systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving advanced equipment issues with a systematic and logical approach
• Documentation: troubleshooting steps, identifying problem, naming parts, naming correction needed
• The contractor would be responsible for mainly doing preventative maintenance and calibration on the equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• 10-15 years of experience working with highly complex industrial machinery
• Prefers experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Food manufacturing, or Electronics because of the highly regulated environment
• They like previous experience from Sandoz, but cannot pull from them
• Must have experience working with automated machinery doing calibrations on transducers, VFDs, and 3 phase motors,
• Must be comfortable getting trained on other areas of the plant including HVAC
• Very mechanically inclined and very electrically inclined.
