QC Chemist - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking qualified candidates for a QC Chemist position. This will be a 3rd shift contract to hire opportunity. All candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.

Job Description:

This is a 3rd shift position for an experienced chemist. Looking for someone in their QC group to help with the quality testing on raw materials, in process and finished goods. It is important this person has experience in the lab doing basic wet chemistry, HPLC and GC work and is interested in a long term opportunity with the company. The quality group is light on HPLC and more specifically someone who knows their empower software (that goes along with collecting the HPLC data), so it is important that they have this experience as well. Documentation is important since they keep well documented notebooks due to FDA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Chemistry or science related field.
• 3-5 years experience in a GMP work environment (preferrably chemical, but could be food/beverage or pharmaceutical).
• 1-2 years experience with HPLC and empower (HPLC software; Waters is the "parent" company of this type of HPLC and Aquity is the hardware- will see on the instrumentation "waters aquity", empower is the software that goes along with the instrumentation)
