*The Drug File Manager is responsible for oversight of a team of Pharmacists and Analysts tasked with managing Enterprise Drug File (EDF) data used in support claims adjudication, mail/specialty pharmacy operations, and various clinical programs. Additionally, the Manager provides leadership for cross-functional drug data related IT projects and serves as liaison providing subject matter expertise to many internal business partners, including Legal, Contracting, Professional Practice, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Benefits, Medicare Operations, and Underwriting.

*The Drug File Manager will lead the team that is responsible for reviewing and analyzing additions and updates to existing EDF data received from external data vendors on a daily basis. The purpose of such review and analysis is to ensure drug data used in support of PBM processes/programs is accurate and adheres to state and federal laws, as well as relevant Compliance and Audit requirements. The team is also responsible for managing internal price programs and PBM-proprietary drug data. In addition, the team supports mail order operations by managing the mail order substitution process to ensure clinical appropriateness of generic drug substitutions.

*Serve in an advisory role providing guidance, and recommendations to team members and internal business partners as necessary to address drug data related questions and issues.

*Provide leadership and participate in capital projects and strategic initiatives, often times serving in the role of Drug File SME.

*Participate in professional organizations (NCPDP, AMCP) to stay informed of potential industry changes that impact the PBM industry.

*Lead efforts related to continual process improvements. Ensure that appropriate Policy & Procedure documentation is developed and maintained. Required Qualifications:

* Experience should include the use of drug file data in areas such as Benefits, Clinical programs, or mail pharmacy operations.

* 3 or more years in a Management role. Preferred Qualifications:

* 5-10 years PBM experience in an operational business unit.

*The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage multiple tasks in a relatively fast paced environment.

*The ability to understand complex issues, to determine the appropriate plan for resolution, and to execute that plan to completion is critical.

*Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and organizational skills are highly important.

*Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel are strongly preferred.

*Proven work experience with Legal/Regulatory/Compliance related entities is preferred.

*Dispensing experience is a plus. Education:

*Bachelor's of Pharmacy or PharmD is required.

*Additional Business related degree is preferred. Business Overview:
