As a Senior IT Architect Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of Designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required to support it and the integration of corporate and technical architectures and applications. 
 

Primary Responsibilities:


  • You will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements

  • You will be involved in solving moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analysis

  • You will provide explanation and information to others on difficult issues

  • You will coach, provide feedback and guide others

  • You will maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps

  • You will identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems

  • You will incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs

  • You will support applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, performance modeling)

  • You will provide oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures)

  • You will maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each

  • You will be responsible for maintaining awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate

The ideal candidate for this position is a seasoned technologist with a strong understanding of end user computing and where it's going.

The primary role of this position is to act as the Enterprise level Architect and SME of end user computing with a focus on the implementation of new technology and solutions that increase productivity and lower the total cost of ownership of the end user computing environment.

Other responsibilities would include:



  • Provide senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprises overall systems architecture

  • Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise

  • Review, advise and design standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals

  • Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards

  • Provide technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate

  • Track industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprises architecture needs

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of IT experience with progressive levels of responsibility leading up to an IT Engineer/Architect

  • 6+ years of end user computing experience

  • 5+ years of experience with operating systems and deployment

  • 5+ years of development experience including full life cycle activities

  • 4+ years of Virtualization experience

  • 4+ years of mobile computing experience

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodology

  • 3+ years understanding/experience in enterprise operating system deployment Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and view business problems with an enterprise point of view

  • Demonstrated business process mapping experience

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Health care industry experience

  • Agile environment

  • Kanban

  • Invincea, Appsense, browser experience

  • Knowledge of work station security practices

  • Experience in application and data management

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
