IT Project Manager - Eden Prairie, MN - Full-time / Part-time

As a key member of the Optum Experience Center (OEC), you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of this state-of-the-art facility.  The Project Manager will manage expectations of Optum Sales and Client Relationships whom are hosting high-profile executives, government officials, customers, etc.  Daily duties include internal/external customer interaction, ensuring guests' needs are met, efficient troubleshooting, and aiding the OEC Concierge as and when needed.  This candidate will have an understanding of technology solutions and experience surrounding large Audio and Video systems and IT networking. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with a high level of ambiguity. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and coordinate logistics involved in all aspects of ongoing events/presentations/sales demonstrations/calendars, etc., including:
  
  
  
  • Catering and Audio/Visual
  
  
  • Procuring Presenters
  
  
  • Creating Client Dossiers


• Maintain and control large scale integrated Audio Video systems with various interfaces


• Organize and support events, demonstrations and exhibits for cutting edge technology such as tablets, touch screen and mobile applications


• Solve unique and complex logistical problems


• Participate in the development of business strategy


• Work with cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams

Skills:

• A proactive, self-starter that leads by example; contributes to building a positive team environment


• Executive presence and understanding of how to effectively host customers, c-suite executives, government officials, etc.


• Fostering relationships with vendors and facilities management


• Commitment to maintaining high level of standards and providing the best customer service

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience


• 2+ years of IT project coordination experience


• Requires a good understanding of advanced technology


• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Healthcare technology / industry experience strongly preferred


• Hospitality experience is a plus


• Experience using Macintosh, Tablets, Slates, and Smart Phones
