The Senior Digital Health Project Manager is responsible for implementing Digital Services / Rally to new and existing clients using a customer-centric approach across all market segments. This leader will interface directly with customers, channel partners, vendors, internal stakeholders and senior leadership to execute project management activities, communicate status and escalate as appropriate. Furthermore, he or she will be responsible to identify and lead process improvement activities cross functionally.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Primary contact for clients during the requirements and implementation process

  • Engage cross functional teams and be an effective change agent

  • Partner with products and services to manage and prioritize client needs and implement solutions

  • Integrate implementation strategy across all Care Solutions products for complex health solutions

  • Collaborate across Optum and UnitedHealth Group

  • Develop and present presentations / demos to clients

  • Identify and proactively monitor customer risks, implement mitigation / action plans and communicate to senior leadership

  • Conduct successful customer readiness reviews of complex health solutions

  • Monitor, track issues and report project status and performance to stakeholders

  • Drive results individually and in a team setting

  • Conduct meetings with customer sponsors and stakeholders

  • Adopt and drive best practice

Requirements

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years working as a Project Manager

  • 3+ years direct client service experience

  • 3+ years of analytical experience

  • Technical experience with web and digital based solutions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • A successful track record of managing multiple projects effectively along with the proven ability to execute projects and achieve desired results

  • Solution oriented with a focus on innovative approaches to resolve customer problems and issues

  • Proven ability to execute projects and achieve desired results

  • Experience managing and influencing cross-functional teams

  • Adaptable and able to move within a changing environment in a large complex organization managing change, innovation, ambiguity, and urgency

  • Project management certification or in process

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MSWord, MSProject, Excel, PowerPoint required; Visio and Sharepoint preferred

  • Ability to travel (potential 10% travel)
