HVAC Service Technician

Looking for a Sr. HVAC service tech. Candidate will be responsible for daily service calls to customers. On average will do 5 calls per day. Mostly dealing with HVAC work but will have to be familiar with Plumbing and Electrical. Will need to be comfortable interfacing with customers. Upselling and selling new products will get service tech commission. Typical hours are 8-4:30 but some calls are earlier, some are later. Will be on call 1 week per month on a 24/7 basis. Candidate will mostly be working alone for service calls- occassionally in a team of two for larger jobs. must be self motivated and driven. candidate will provide hand tools, but larger tools and parts needed will be provided by client.

Must have a tech school certification in HVAC and at least 5 years of experience on the job. Plumbing experience, including soldering and brazing is necessary, as well as some minor electrical experience.
no additional training is necessary. during ride alongs, candidate will be introduced to clients and typical work day for each one.

Intent is for this person to take on some leadership responsibilities after they are acclimated in the role.
Leadership would also mean- helping with scheduling of jobs and techs- mentoring new techs- and helping to complete paperwork for jobs done in the field.
