Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual with 12+ years of Investment Banking experience to join the Real Estate Syndicated Finance team. The candidate should have a well-documented understanding of the Real Estate loan market and extensive experience in loan syndications and sales. This professional will have strong marketing skills and a broad network within the commercial real estate industry. Ideally, this professional should be versed in both corporate and project loans.
7+ years experience in capital markets, industry experience within the specific sector of the position, or a combination of both. Knowledge of the Loan Syndications product is required Knowledge of both Corporate (REIT and REOC) and Project Real Estate loan pricing and structuring Relationships and contacts with a cross section of commercial real estate loan buyers including banks, life companies, and mezzanine loan investors among others Series 79 & 63 required An undergraduate degree is required Series 79 & 63 required Must have a high level of personal motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and a broad intellectual capacity Effective and persuasive communicator both inside and outside of the organization Demonstrate initiative and strong desire to succeed and get things done Possess great integrity and high ethical standards A minimum of 10 years of experience working in a Loan Sales or Syndications group An MBA or other advanced degree related to finance is preferred Successful track record of managing a team of people
