~~Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is currently accepting resumes for Swim Instructor position at our W. Des Moines location on 7125 Mills Civic Parkway in Jordan Creek Town Center. You DO NOT have to have experience teaching lessons we will train you! Candidates have to be FUN, ENERGETIC, and OUTGOING self-starters who love working with children and the public. You do NOT have to have previous swim instructor experience to qualify but a true desire to work with kids and the personality to match.
We are looking for responsible team players who are willing to go the extra mile in helping children become water safe and learn to swim. This is a high energy job that requires coming to work with a great attitude and ready to have fun every day. Candidate should be outgoing, positive, smiling, and excel in communicating with parents and children.
Ideal candidates have a true desire to work with children, are able to adapt to change quickly, handle the emotions of children, and keep them safe at all times, while pushing them to learn a new skill. Shifts we are currently looking to fill are afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings
This is a great Part Time job with a set schedule. Shifts are set long term so you can set your schedule and its the same every week! As consistency is very important for children, so STRONG work ethics is mandatory, instructors must attend their regular shifts every week. This is not a position you can call out of work or miss a lot of shifts.
