Job Description
The Medical Technologist -- Med Tech -- MT/MLT Responsible for specimen processing, test performance and for reporting rest results. Must possess knowledge of all general areas of the clinical laboratory including experience with basic equipment used, infection control and other criteria for universal precautions and all other skills related to clinical laboratory. Employee will perform additional tasks/activities as assigned.
Maintaining Hematology instrumentation and records
Maintaining Hematology quality control records, calibrations, and linearity
Reporting Hematology quality control to group QC
Updating Hematology policies and procedures
Helping to prepare for CAP inspections
Performing other duties as assigned
IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR Medical Technologist -- Med Tech -- MT/MLT
Associates or Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 1 year recent experience as an MT/MLT in a hospital Laboratory setting
MT/MLT license required
