Stafford Suites, located in downtown Kent has an immediate opening for a Resident Assistant. We are an assisted living building with 63 apartments providing care ranging from independent to full assistance. Qualifications for this position include a CNA license, flexibility in scheduling, a compassion for assisting our residents, and a willingness to join a great team of employees! Stafford Suites of Kent is seeking a caregiver for Nights (NOC). New hire bonus after 90 days of $250.00!!!! We are located in beautiful downtown Kent and offer a range of care from independent to hospice.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for assisting the residents with personal care needs including showers, grooming, transfer/ambulating, peri-care/toileting, dressing, and other needs as listed on their Service plans with dignity and respect.
* Must be able to stoop, bend, turn, stretch, and lift as needed.
* Works under supervision of Wellness Director and must be able to report resident changes to supervisor in timely manner.
* Demonstrates cooperative teamwork in all duties.
* Maintain confidentiality of all resident care
Qualifications:
* Must have a Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant License or Home Care Aide License
* Valid First Aid/ CPR Card (Within 14 days of hire)
* Valid Department of Health Food Handler's Card (Within 3 days of hire) (www.foodworkercard.wa.gov)
* Dementia, Mental Health, Nurse Delegation (Within 120 days of hire)
