Positions in this function are responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new member or group enrollments. Positions may load new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changes. Positions may also respond to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status. Positions may work with various types of member correspondence. Positions may also be responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes. Positions may also be responsible for inventory control of member and group transactions.

On-Site Enrollment Representatives are responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining enrollments and initial payments. Enrollment data and member questions are received through various types of written correspondence and phone calls.
Primary Responsibilities:
Preparing, processing, and maintaining new member or group enrollments
Performing basic clerical functions with proficient PC skills
Responding to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status (via letters or phone)
Working with various types of member correspondence
Reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes
Loading enrollment data into the enrollment database and updating the database with changes
Processing payments and setting up auto payments
May assist with the Benefits Specialist Education Representative with presentations about the TRICARE Program to small and large groups, including support of or conducting beneficiary education briefings and in-/out-processing activities
Position is located at a Hawaii Military Treatment Facility, Tripler Army Medical Center.
Requirements
Requirements:
High school education or GED
Work Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday thru Friday
1+ year of high volume computer based data processing experience preferably related to enrollment
Intermediate proficiency with Windows PC applications including MS Office: Word (creating templates, memos), Excel (filtering, pivot tables, macros, sorting), Outlook (task, create meetings) which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
- Basic proficiency with PowerPoint (creation and presentation)
1+ year knowledge of TRICARE program and benefits
1+ year Strong working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry (Government and Non-Government healthcare insurance)
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86
Assets:
Previous Enrollment Eligibility experience preferred
Understanding of Military and rankings
Public Speaking experience
As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.
