About this job
Seeking MIG Welders on the 2nd shift. They will be using .035 wire.
MIG Welders will be working with thin gauge up from 1/8" to 1/2" inch Mild Steel. Special projects require up to 1" thick steel.
Client is seeking welders with the ability to read/understand blue prints, set up their own welding and have the ability to fit-up their own parts using fixtures.
Welds need to be clean, smooth and without sharp edges, etc.
Structural Welders tend to not work out for this environment (like Trinity, Fort Worth Tower, Sabre, etc.) If they have a Fab Shop welding background, in addition to production/structural welding, they will look at them.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM 2:30PM-1:00AM
BE ABLE TO READ BLUE PRINTS AND BASIC WELD SYMBOLS
MIG AND FLUX WELDING
OPEN TO 15HR-17HR IN PAY.
