Aerotek is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance/PLC Technician for our client's facility in the Hawkin's County area. Successful candidates will be able to perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment, as well as Light Programming and Trouble shooting of PLCs.

Job Description
Maintenance Technicians will perform maintenance on all types of equipment used in a production environment including CNC, conveyors, and automated machines. Some strenuous pulling and straining will be necessary to succesfully repair equipment. Employees will need to be able to trouble shoot various brands of PLCs.

Starting pay will start at $18.00-20.00 per hour and has the potential to increase after 6 months with good performance. This is a full time position with the opportunity to go permanent after 6 months worked.

Minimum Requirements:
1). High school diploma or GED required industrial maintenance certificate or journeyman preferred
2). Three to five years recent experience as an industrial technician
3). Minimum two years experience trouble shooting PLCs and reading ladder logic
4). Minimum of two years experience hydraulic and pneumatic trouble shooting and repair
5). Must be flexible to work any shift
6). Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and Back Ground Screening
7). Ability to effectively use electrical instruments such as volt/ohm meter
