Job Description
Follow blueprints to layout, fit and weld containers
Layout material according to drawings and processes using straight edges, combination squares and precision tools.
Clamp, hold and tack weld material
Use plasma arc cutter, acetylene torch, band saw and mechanical shear to cut material to specs and within tolerances
MIG Welding carbon steel and aluminum
Working with metals ranging from 16 gauge to 1/4 inch plate
Use grinder and palm sander to prepare and finish surfaces
Work Environment
5PM - 3:30AM
Working 7 days a week. Tries to give them off 1 day a week
A LOT OF OVERTIME - Able to work weekends
Work 60+ hours week
Fast paced production - Attention to detail
