This is a work at home position available to candidates that reside in Illinois. In order to be considered, candidates must be comfortable traveling between 25%-50% of the time to Chicago and Downers Grove, IL. Qualified candidates will have clinical experience in a specialty unit (High Risk OB, CCU, PCU, ICU) as well as experience in utilization management or case management. This is a highly specialized role that will require a quick learner that is very computer savvy.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will develop and deliver training for Medicaid Health Plan personnel and Shared Services Departments. This includes the roles of Case Management Associate, Case Management Coordinator, Clinical Case Manager, UM Inbound Queue Rep, PA Nurse and Concurrent review.
Assists design and development of curriculum and develops and delivers training sessions to a uniquely defined designated audiences of learners. Collaborate with local leadership and national curricula design teams to ensure the successful development and transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job. Oversees the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management.
Uses a variety of educational media to design and develop state-of-the-art training tools and programs for designated Aetna audiences; assesses and reports on the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.
Superior knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Superior knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media.
2+ years of Managed Care experience (Utilization Management or Case Management) is required
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Nursing/Board of Nursing (Any State) is required
