Honeywell is hiring an Intern Bachelor E&T for our Phoenix, AZ facility. This opening in Honeywell Engineering's Mechanical Systems Engineering and Applications organization is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development of the Electric Green Taxiing System (EGTS) for commercial aircraft. This is a new product being developed jointly by Honeywell and Safran. The system will reduce airline fuel burn during taxi operations and reduce reliance on ground equipment.
The successful candidate will participate in and support the following project engineering team activities:
Preparation of technical and schedule key performance indicators (KPIs)
Management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Data analysis and report preparation
Preparation of design and programmatic review materials
Establishment of Joint Venture operating procedures Preferred location for this role is Phoenix, AZ.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering or a related field education.
Must be able to complete an internship prior to graduating.
Additional Qualifications:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point, etc).
