Cisco Solutions Architect needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in New York, Boston, Philadelphia or Washington DC.

What You'll Be Doing:



    - Work with account executives to drive new Cisco solutions and services opportunities.
    - Participate in customer meetings to determine business and technical requirements that will be used in developing Cisco solutions or solution alternatives that map within our capabilities.
    - Lead customer technical sessions, both white board and PowerPoint, around potential and proposed Cisco solutions.
    - Design and deliver technical design solutions, including preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), writing the services proposal content (Statements of Work), and pricing for customer projects.
    - Partner with internal resources to develop and manage deals that cross between multiple technology solutions.
    - Obtain sales and technical certifications around various Cisco solutions as required.
    - Coach and mentor sales team members including organizing and leading sales training sessions around various Cisco Unified Communications technologies.
    - Elevate the level of knowledge within the sales team around Cisco Unified Communications technologies, sales techniques and strategies for the assigned sales territory.
    - Develop and maintain relationships for Cisco and Cisco-related technologies. Act as primary contact for marketing and training events. Regularly engage the local teams for assistance, support and opportunity mapping as necessary.
    - Grow and achieve Services and Cisco sales targets in assigned region.
    - Accountable for tracking opportunities and maintaining a pipeline in CRM

What You Need to Bring to the Table:



    - Pre-Sales experience is required
    - Five to ten (5 - 10) years related experience is required
    - Solid understanding of MS - Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint for creating Customer deliverables.
    - Cisco specific specialist certifications (i.e. Cisco Rich Media Communications Specialist, Cisco Data Center Unified Fabric Design Specialist, etc.)
    - Knowledge of software and/or hardware, testing and implementation
    - Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to interact with senior-level technical and business decision-makers as a strategic advisor
    - Ability to work as a solid member and leader of a team
    - Must be a self-starter and have ability to manage expectations with a sales team and with customers
    - Strong leadership and communication skills
    - A positive attitude and desire to build a business within a business
    - Ability to travel up to 30%
    - BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent experienceAbility to travel up to 50%

    - Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice (CCNP Voice)
    - CCIE Voice
    - Cisco Commerce Workspace
    - Cisco networking and wireless technologies
    - Experience working with Microsoft Lync
    - VMware
