Client is looking for an Equipment Tech to work in their Distribution Facilities. Candidate will be responsible for the following:

Job Functions:
- Maintains and repairs equipment and systems that support production,
distribution, warehousing and general facilities operations. This includes but is not
limited to electrical and electronic PLC controlled systems and equipment.
Accountabilities:
- Coordinates work assignments and assists in the training of other maintenance
personnel.
- Performs major teardowns, overhauls and installs new equipment.
- Troubleshoots and analyzes all electrical and mechanical equipment including
Allen Bradley PLC's and HVAC computerized control systems.
- Performs preventive maintenance, scheduled inspections and repairs on all
electrical and mechanical equipment as required.
- Interacts with production, distribution, warehousing, project engineering,
vendors, outside contractors and other operational areas as needed.
- Demonstrates independent judgment and problem solving skills.
- Develops innovative solutions for cost, quality or efficiency improvements.
- Maintains written and computerized logs, inventory record and submits
inventory requisitions.
- Fabricates and installs component replacements.
- Evaluates and designs various electrical schematics, reads and evaluates
blueprints for new and existing installations.
- Builds, assembles, maintains, programs and adjusts electrical control panels
and PLC's.
- Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
- Performs various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training
of new employees.
- Electrical and Mechanical troublshooting and repair of Automated Conveyor Systems consisteing of Line shaft, Roller, 0 pressure, and belt driven conveyor systems.
- Must be willing to do facilities Maintenance along with Equipment repair.
- Knowledge of PLC's a plus
- Experience working with KIVA robots would be a plus
- Working with Pick Delay Systems a plus
- 85% of work performed will be on conveyor systems
- Expereince with photo eyes, cameras, relay switches, motors and gear boxes required
