The Retail Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution and coordination of all retail marketing plans, promotions and events related to all LIDS retail concepts (LIDS, Locker Room and Macy's Locker Room).
CORE DUTIES
Collaborate with Retail Marketing Manager and vendors/business partners to develop and implement cooperative marketing programs.
Execute all retail marketing plans, promotions and events.
Work with internal departments (Marketing, Merchandising, Ecommerce, Creative Services and Photography) to execute marketing plan and promotional strategy.
Gather and review post-promotion and event information and analyze performance metrics to identify successes/best practices and optimization opportunities
Plan and execute sales-driving, brand-building in-store special events including grand openings, autograph signings, DJ appearances, etc...
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure event success
Coordinate event public relations communications
Complete internal forms to assist in the execution of event promotions including requests for promotional coupons, creating purchase orders and any other company and/or department forms
P rovide content/direction for social media marketing activities related to promotions and events
GENERAL DUTIES
Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs
Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Four-year degree in marketing or related business and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate program performance and results.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible and grammatically correct manner.
Demonstrated ability to perform independently with periodic supervision.
Ability to analyze marketplace trends and suggest changes to meet our exceed business needs.
Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
