Position: Recruiting Coordinator (part-time)
Reports to: Recruiting & Hiring Manager

20 hours/week; work 5 hours any four weekdays per week. Approximately 4-5x month, Recruiting
Coordinator must work until 5pm; other work hours flexible as long as hours are between 9am-5pm. Work
in Silver Spring location.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new recruitment ideas.
  • Recruit via field outreach.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment contact relationships via one-on-one meetings, presentations, phone calls, online, etc.
  •  Participate in and host recruitment events in house and in the field 3x a month, specifically to attract potential employees.
  • Conduct employee orientation, twice a month.
  •  Create and/or update recruiting and hiring materials, including office documents, presentations, flyers,etc.
  • Create and/or update Internet, social media, and newspaper advertisements.
  • Provide weekly update of recruitment efforts; update monthly Recruiting & Hiring Scorecard; meet bimonthly with supervisor.
  • Complete other special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Team player attitude!
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Knowledge of social media, including creating internet advertisements.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have own car and be willing to travel in Montgomery County, Washington DC , and Prince George’s County.
