Seeking someone interested in joining a leading company in self insured programs as an Account Executive. This is a full-time, direct-hire role in a growing company.
Account Executive
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaison between client and other company departments
Conducts presentations of New Business Proposals
Works with Brokers/Consultants on obtaining/promoting new business
Preparing for and participating in employee orientation and open enrollment meetings
Provides monthly and quarterly data reporting to clients
Maintains contact with assigned clients/brokers/consultants on a regular schedule via phone, correspondence and in person to monitor and enhance service
Implements new product offerings
Consults with clients/brokers/consultants on regulatory issues affecting plan
Coordinates carrier changes and terminations
Completes plan amendments/ID card formats
Represents Company at client, industry or professional meetings/events
Position requires travel and use of personal vehicle
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
The position requires three to five years account management/client relationship experience in a health insurance or equivalent environment. An Associates degree and Marketing experience are preferred. Must possess, or obtain within one year of assignment, a valid Life/Health Insurance Agent license. Must possess a valid drivers' license and proof of insurance.
