Construction Materials Tester

We are currently hiring for one of our clients here in the Omaha, NE area who is a large engineering consulting firm that does environmental, geotechnical, and construction materials testing. They have an office in Omaha and in Lincoln. They are currently looking for an inspector to go to job site and inspect the soil, concrete, and asphalt for commercial construction projects.

This will be an entry level position and would also take someone with previous inspecting experience. They will get trained to use a Nuclear Density Guage to check soil compaction and use concrete cylinders to complete air and slump test. This position does not require any specific certifications, but after they start they will be trained on the Nuc Density guage and potentially get an ACI certification.
Previous experience in the construction trade is required. They will need to have knowledge working around large construction project and be able to document field notes.
