We are seeking a Program Manager for our Detroit, Michigan facility.

Primary responsibilities for this position involve:

  • Support quoting process for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate capital, project expense, tool & human resource planning for new product development.
  • Build alignment across functional departments with respect to resource capability & capacity.
  • Ensure supply chain and operations are informed of customer specific requirements.
  • Ensure technical and business alignment with customer.
  • Manage globally consistent brand delivery across multiple plants.

You could be right for this job if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical area.
  • 3-5 years of program management experience.
  • 5+ years of project leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Experience with Mechatronics (Electromechanical Assemblies).
  • Understands the principles of Mechatronics (mechanics, electronics and software) and the inter-related development needs.
  • Able to successfully manage projects containing all disciplines relative to Mechatronic products
  • Experience with project financial responsibilities.
  • Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Recent experience with Automotive OEM's and associated processes.
  • Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and effective communication.
  • Solid communication skills on a Global level.
