About this job

The position builds and maintains relationships with existing commercial customers, provides assistance and support in product selection, delivery and issue resolution.

Primary (Essential) Functions:

  • Outbound dialing of existing accounts.
  • Maintains relationship with existing clients.
  • Sends qualified projects from existing accounts to National Sales Manager.
  • Focus on repeat business and utilize strengths of commercial team and LL to close additional sales with existing clients.
  • Distribute marketing materials to increase sales to existing customers.

Secondary (Non-Essential) Functions:

  • Attend trade shows or other company sponsored events that support commercial sales goals
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of LL products, systems and processes, including SAP and I3
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other members of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required;
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university preferred
  • One to three years experience, in commercial or direct sales required
