Have you ever worked as a glazier or window cutter/installer for construction sites? Do you have a fine attention to detail and strong problem solving skills? Look no further, we have the job for you. Manpower Staffing is looking for staff that has glazier/glass installation experience for commercial construction. Applicants could expect the job to include installing windows, garage doors, interior or exterior doors, and sheet glass partitions. Essential Duties to Include: *Install and service products for commercial properties per manufacturer's instruction. *Adapt product to fit building, or make modifications along with job site supervisor to accommodate product. *Effectively communicate in person as well as via telephone to report progress and problem solve installations. *Maintain clean and safe job site with proper disposal of trash. *Follows vehicle maintenance schedule for shop vehicle in use. *Assist in keeping warehouse organized and stocked. *Assist with product orders and inventory. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: *Proficient use in carpenter's tools including tape measure, hammer, reciprocating saw, sander, skill/jig saw, etc. *Ability to utilize basic math to cut and form glass for installation. *Physical strength to lift 100-pounds frequently. *Physical endurance to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and move with sheets of glass or windows for installation. *Self-starter. *Valid driver's license and clean driving record. *High school diploma or equivalent *Training for installation either through technical school or 3 years apprenticeship.
