Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Service Manager for 270 resident nursing and rehabilitation facility, Colonial Manor, located in York, Pennsylvania. This position is for a location owned and operated by a newly formed partnership with WILMAC Corporation. The Food Service Manager will support the food service operations, must be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors and managing people and the dining operation to make every day a better day for our clients and residents with the goal of creating dining experiences, not just meals. Will report to the General Manager. The ideal candidate for this position will have one or more years management experience in food service, ideally in a healthcare environment and / or restaurant.

Position Summary
Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
