Through its Maryland offices, Wells Fargo Bank is The Premier Provider of Corporate Trust Services to the Mortgage Backed Securities Market. We are currently seeking a highly motivated dynamic individual to fill a Securities Admin Services Analyst II position in the Mortgage Product Solutions group. The successful candidate for this position will have the skills necessary to review, analyze, and tie out new and existing transactions in which we provide Trustee services, Calculation Agent Services, Verification Agent services, Disbursement Agent services and Surveillance oversight. They will help set the direction and support the efforts of the analysts, SAS2's.

The primary responsibilities focus on the MPF/FHLB production environment and include, but are not limited to, the following; verification of deal and loan level information to ensure accuracy of reporting, detailed analysis of portfolio and loan level data and trends, review and interpret documents, provide prompt and accurate customer service; partner with external and internal customers and troubleshoot or improve production process issues.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Training and mentoring junior level staff and review production.

- Participate in development of surveillance product offering by helping to develop processes, procedures and controls for each service level rollout as well as the development of surveillance interfaces to support the offering. This includes all tasks associated with future product and service releases which include data, reporting, processing and web functionality requirements writing. Also, includes future design, user acceptance testing and release phases.

- Participate in specific tasks associated with any needed system enhancement and/or system controls related to the new product and service.

- Participate in writing/updating Standard Operating Procedures, as needed developing training curriculum, product development and requirements identification.

1+ years experience in financial services, accounting or analytical analysis or a BS/BA or higher degree or 2+ years military experience. Strong verbal communications skills; demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft. Strong excel and math skills. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Customer service experience Analytical experience Strong MS Office experience including Access, Excel and Word as well as strong math skills 4 year degree or equivalent experience (4+ years related work experience) 1 year experience in the mortgage banking industry Previous Corporate Trust experience Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with experience identifying areas of need in daily operations and making the appropriate improvements to the processes to create efficiencies, reduce risk, and/or increase control Demonstrated effective communications to external parties while ensuring compliance with stated agreements. Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate processing exceptions Demonstrated ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities Previous default loan servicing experience Experience on-boarding new business opportunities -- including creating the process, training team members, and writing standard operating procedures. Knowledge of Reverse mortgage products; specifically the role of Credit Risk Manager Knowledge of Loss Mitigation and Government Programs.
