Job Description


Job Title: Painter

Department: Recon

Reports To: Recon Manager

FLSA: Non Exempt

Summary:
Repairs damaged vehicles to factory specs as stated on the Repair Order. Restores or replaces parts within the allotted time. Assists other shop personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sand/rub vehicles as directed by supervisor and within estimated Mitchell time frame. Touch-up vehicles with small brush/brush touch-up. Prep vehicles for paint. Drive vehicles to/from lot and body shop. Maintain clean work area and shop. Comply with OSHA/Environmental regulations. Perform duties in a shop environment and outside on the lot.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Qualification Requirements:
3-5 years of auto body/auto painting experience. Ability to put out a high volume of vehicles in a short period of time that are high quality. Knowledge of paint and body work is necessary.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma/equivalent. 5+ years Journey Level work experience.

Certificates, Licenses and registrations:
Valid & clean Utah Drivers License.

Language/Writing Skills:
Read and write English.
