Description

The Supply Chain Business Relationship Sr Manager will be responsible for the overall management of end to end customer service and delivery of superior customer support for strategic Partnership Accounts. This includes maintaining customer expectations of in-stock, inventory, and promotional service, communicate customer needs and requirement to supply chain partners to facilitate efficient planning and deployment of inventory. Adding value to the business through relationship management (growth) with Transportation, Warehousing, Demand Planning and key collaborative business partnerships with our externals and internal customers such as Sales, Brokers, and Finance, this position will seek out opportunities to improve process, increase efficiencies and support cost savings initiatives in warehousing and transportation. This position will support order management and on-boarding processes for E-commerce accounts and develop supply chain processes and strategies to support E-commerce opportunities.

This role reports to the Director of Warehouse Direct Demand Planning & Partnerships, and will be located in Plano, TX

Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for the overall management of the customer service team including its performance evaluation, strategy, and day to day management of the team and its functions
  2. Responsibility for management for teams that are located away from corporate site, requires additional communication and coordination with Plano supply chain partners
  3. Manage supply chain support for high visibility accounts such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Kroger, Amazon and Safeway.
  4. Build, Maintain and cultivate relationships with customer VMI contacts and DPSG sales teams that are located on-site.Build collaborative environment where information is shared efficiently and effectively
  5. Lead efforts of team to manage co-managed processes for assigned accounts; meet customer expectations for in-stock, inventory and supply chain reliability metrics
  6. Responsible for ensuring superior customer satisfaction, resolving complaints and inquiries as deemed appropriate, at the lowest delivered cost.
  7. Accountable for successful VMI buying program for assigned accounts.Maintain metrics for in-stock, inventory and promotional buying.
  8. Participate on Ecommerce projects to on-board and support DPSG Ecommerce strategy; on-board Ecommerce accounts and develop and implement processes that leverage DPSG delivery capabilities to support order fulfilment for these accounts
  9. Responsible for the team's commitment to order management relative to ensuring accuracy of pricing/deals, review and action of Q10/Q13 reports, accurate delivery dates, and correct plant selection.Assist as required in the administration of the deduction resolution process.
  10. Cultivate an environment that encourages maximum productivity and service effectiveness, personal growth and development, open communications and teamwork with local and remote team members.
  11. Analyse / interpret customer service level information to facilitate proactive improvement opportunities
  12. Monitor to ensure on-time delivery for orders through delivery metrics and partnering with the transportation and warehouse teams
  13. Manage and publish critical management reports on in-stock, on-time and inventory level compliance to Dr Pepper Snapple Group management team
  14. Drive communication to supply chain teams on new items, discontinuations, and promotional activity to allow for the efficient planning and deployment of inventory.
  15. Accountable for stakeholder management and communications to the manager, director and VP level. Must be able to fluidly address issues, drive root-cause analysis initiatives and deliver on agreed upon commitments.
  16. Support RCI initiatives and champion organizational change initiative

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University
  • 2 years of experience working with grocery, retail or CPG customers in an analytical, replenishment, co-managed, consulting or vendor managed inventory role
  • 1 year of experience with SAP, MRP, APO, or similar ERP system
  • 1 year of experience in either People or Project Management
