The Manager, Global Internal Communications, is responsible for the development, management and execution of highly visible editorial content across PepsiCo's internal communications channels, including PEPline, MyPepisCo.com, email/executive communications and digital signage. This role works with colleagues across Global Internal Communications, as well as various sectors, regions and divisions throughout the enterprise to deliver content to strengthen employee understanding of and alignment and engagement with business strategies and priorities. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, independent decision making, project management and implementation, accountability for deliverables, and agency and contractor management, ensuring related projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

Oversee editorial content across all global internal communications channels, including electronic Global PEPline newsletter and MyPepsiCo.com home page; as well as editing, writing, formatting, reviewing and approval processes.

Lead weekly editorial call with global colleagues to align on internal news/activities, brainstorm and collaborate; create, update and enforce writing standards and editorial guidelines and processes across PepsiCo.

Develop and coordinate an internal communications editorial calendar, working closely with the digital team, media bureau, strategy and planning and others within the Corporate Communications function to amplify, share and leverage content for internal and external channels; manage the internal story submission and delegation process.

Bring innovative ideas forth to enhance communications channels and content quality to better reach and engage employees; execute innovative feature stories and multimedia and social media content.

Oversee content campaigns from conception to execution, working with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and meet objectives.

Support the development and distribution of messages from C-Suite leadership, responding to requests with a sense of urgency; review outgoing communications for employee clarity and relevance.

Project manage and plan the quarterly PepsiCo Forum and other White Plains-based employee events; maintain project checklist and coordinate activities across GIC, A/V, BIS and Facilities; develop and distribute all Forum-related employee communications, including post-event coverage.

Main Interactions (Internal/External):

General employee population (daily) - As primary content editor across GIC channels, this position can potentially interact with any employees at any level since submissions come from all corners of the organization, including senior leaders. This position must manage their submissions and expectations.

Global Internal Communications members from various sectors/divisions (daily) - This position works closely with internal communications colleagues.

Global Corporate Communications members (daily) - This position interacts with communications colleagues in the media bureau and digital teams to ensure we're aligned on key messaging/themes/projects.

Contractors (daily) - This position is responsible for the work of freelance writers, designers and measurement specialists on an as-needed basis.

BIS partners (daily) - This position works with BIS partners to troubleshoot issues and push channel enhancements forward.

Senior leaders (frequently) - Project manager of PepsiCo Forum (hosted by the Chairman with C-suite participation) to help troubleshoot issues during this critical meeting. This role also interacts with executives to obtain approvals as needed.
