As a Finance Director at PepsiCo, you will be the key Finance contact responsible for providing the overall financial leadership and expertise in giving recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Finance Director will be the key finance contact for the California Regions Retail Sales team. The Finance Director leads and supports development and activation of retail sales priorities and customer/market specific initiatives and execution plans in collaboration with HQ retail finance team, region sales and Market Directors.

Primary accountabilities include:

Functions as strategic business advisor to retail sales team

Partners with Key Account owners on Annual Operation Plan and Quarterly Business Planning processes

Collaborates with Revenue Management team to ensure marketplace pricing architecture and trade spend goals are achieved across regional retail customer base

Provides decision support to regional sales team

Lead performance management processes

Builds financial literacy across Region Sales team

Hire, develop and retain top-tier finance professionals through appropriate training, thought leadership, timely feedback and mentoring

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)

MBA or CPA is strongly desirable

Work Experience:

10 - 15 years of progressive financial leadership responsibility, ideally with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Annual planning, Strategy development, Financial Planning and Analysis, business performance evaluation and Financial Accounting and Control. Experience working with CPG or manufacturing industry preferred.

Skills & Capabilities:

Experience with Annual Planning and Strategy Development

Forecasting and budgeting

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes

Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management

Experience working in a matrixed global business environment

Strong influencing skills

Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion

Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement

Ability to handle multiple priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications

Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
