Responsibilities* Oversee the day-to-day clinic operations including staff assignments,payroll,and time off

requests.Plan work schedules,coordinate staff coverage,and monitor attendance. Respond and make decisions as the clinic lead.Interview, hire. coordinate training of staff, and conduct staff performance evaluations.

Coordinate the department procurement process: order clinic, office, and specialty Items (equipment). follow up on orders as needed, research best price sources, prepare purchasing

account information for reconciliation. and coordinate equipment repairs.Oversee staff that place

orders for different disciplines within the faculty practice.

Assume responsibility to respond, make independent decisions,and act upon inquires from patients, staff,and faculty regarding clinic procedures, scheduilng issues, billing, and

reimbursement.

Chairside dental assist to cover co-worker scheduled and unscheduled absences, dental

emergencies, and periodontal charting.Monitor and assure compliance with the infection control practices and HIPAA.

Review providers' accounts receivable status. communicate with all appropriate

Individuals/groups, and take needed action. Work various information system reports, such as

productlon reports, AIR reports,in dispute,work In progress,etc.,to ensure accurate and complete information. Analyze this data and take Independent action as needed.Assist providers with the preparation and presentation of patient treatment estimates.

Provide financialand appointment support at the front desk during staff shortages. Schedule

appointments, triage calls, register patients,modify provider schedules, and cash collections.

Required Qualifications* 2-5 yrs supervisory and or team lead experience.

Experience in a dental or clinic setting.

Certification as CDA or RDA.

BLS Certification.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent ability to multi-task.

Excellent attendance record.

Desired Qualifications* Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Health Administration.

MPathways training on Marketsite, Concur and Procurement. Knowledge of School of Dentistry policies and procedures.

Work Locations This position is located at the School of Dentistry and 1011 N University Ave.
