The SLD Demand Planning department in Canton, MA is seeking a dedicated and talented individual for our 1-year post-graduate training program (Apprenticeship) for 2015-2016. This program will provide qualified graduates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assisting with our Demand Planning efforts. Candidates will learn what it is like working for a Global organization and will be part of a dynamic team charged with creating innovation for SLD.
Responsibilities from this position could include:
* Collect and organize sales and usage data for use in the forecasting, inventory, and sales management for licensed product.
* Support projects as needed.
* Continuously offer insight and advice on how to improve daily processes, tasks and procedures in order to enhance service.
Requirements:
* Recent graduates from US-based college or university
* Students majoring in Finance or Business preferred
* Solid organizational and communication skills
* Team oriented individual who can also work well independently
* Passion for our brand and industry
* This dynamic, multi-tasker will work in a fast paced environment.
* Must be able to navigate complex organizations with ease and confidence.
* Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and promotional concepts a plus.
* Attention to detail and solid execution skills a must.
* Candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed and have fun.
