Description

The Director of Marketing will provide strategic leadership to the field marketing team and our Bottlers/Distributors for all MSI markets, to include the Caribbean, Europe,Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East regions. This role adds value to MSI by driving top line volume growth of some of our major brands, such as 7up, Sunkist, CanadaDry, Snapple and Mott’s, through the creation and execution of trade and consumer programs. This person will also be responsible of creation of digital campaign across MSI and the transfer of best practices.

The ideal candidate will bring 10 or more years of consumer marketing experience, with 5 or more of that within an international market, preferably with a CPG organization. They will have demonstrated experience successfully navigating distributor partnerships, in the areas of shared timelines, budgets,promotional activity and pricing models, etc. They will have experience leading a small team and setting strategy for new initiatives. An MBA would be considered a plus.

This role will manage two(2) Field Marketing Managers. They will work internally with Sales,Corporate Communications, Finance, R&D, Business Development, and U.S.Marketing team, and externally with multiple agencies, Bottlers, Distributors.

This role is office based at our Boca Raton location, with 25% travel to the Caribbean and Latin America most frequently, with annual trips to Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Responsibilities
  • . Lead team through short and long term planning process, including business review process and brand tool development. Work with business development team to assess new market entries and the appropriate brand strategies (consumer, trade,pricing, etc.). Develop process to effectively share best practices across Internal and External stakeholders. Develop and execute a Digital marketing strategy and platform to be implemented across MSI. Create an innovation pipe line working with corporate Virtual teams for sustainable long-term growth. Align opportunities and capitalize North American resources to bring new products to market.
  • On Volume (#),NSV ($) and SOP ($). Ensure KPI measures are created and achieved. Develop and implement Global pricing strategies for all our brands across MSI. Manage mix,Market brand budgets to ensure commercial plans are achieved.
  • Support brand health objectives with meaningful advertising and consumer promotions. Continually evaluate success of programs. Develop and execute Public Relations and Social Media strategies for all brands. Manage relationship with outside partner agencies.
  • Develop team of Field Marketing Managers. Engage and Influence the Marketing Directors and Owners of our bottlers/Distributors. Complete objective setting, status/regular feedback and professional development plans.
  • Develop process to effectively share best practices across Internal and External stakeholders. Manage communication and interactions with US brand teams to align brand strategies and leverage US plans into international markets

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

2. 10 years’ consumer marketing experience

3. 5 years’ international commercialization experience

4. Fully fluent in Spanish
