Structural Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Structural Engineer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

JOB OVERVIEW:
Experis Engineering currently has an immediate need for Structural Engineer for one of our great clients for a permanent in Greenville, NC. Local candidates are strongly preferred. PE with Design/Consulting experience is a must.

*Qualified candidate for this position will have a minimum of 8 years of experience and professional engineering license.
*A Masters degree in structures is preferred.
*Candidate shall be a self-starter capable of working both independently and with the senior staff structural engineer.
*Tasks include performance of structural design for industrial and architectural projects, the development of project scope, schedule, construction cost estimates, and proposals.

Responsibilities include:
*Supervision of drawing production (drafters, designers and or intern engineers), specifications, and construction administration duties (shop drawing reviews, site inspections and resolving field problems with contractors).
*Candidate must have good communications skills for cross-discipline project coordination, client interaction, and vendors/sales representatives. Please refer to position title and number in

Required Skills:
*Must have good oral and written communication, and computer skills.
*Candidate must have Professional Engineering registration in North Carolina.
