POSITION PURPOSE -

This position is for a Developer II in the Enterprise Labor Management Team. The ideal candidate will work on the Enterprise Labor Management Forcasting and Scheduling application, and other HR related applications. Experience with Labor Management applications, i.e. Empower WFM, Kronos WOracle 11G SOA, BPM, BEPL, Content, and Records Management applications a plus.

This position will require Implementation of technical deliverables, such as web services, user interfaces, integrations, database queries, etc. The resource should also be able to deliver technical and functional documentation.
Collaboration with business and IT partners to build solutions that solve customer problems and deliver business value. Should have the ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual contributor.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
  • Java development with proficiency in web development (JSP, Servlet, JMS, JDBC, J2EE Security, Struts, JQuery, XML).
  • Understanding of standard web frameworks and languages (HTML, CSS, Javacript, AJAX).
  • Experience with SQL/T-SQL against DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of standard web service development frameworks and methodologies (SOAP and RESTful).
  • Familiarity with standard source repositories (Subversion, CVS, Clearcase, etc.)
  • C#/ASP.NET (nice to have).
  • PowerShell scripting (nice to have).
  • Experienced with at least one of the following IDEs and App servers (Eclipse, WASD, Eclipse, Tomcat, Jboss).
  • Strong analytical skills and good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS Computer Science or related field.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
  • Take business requirements and develop the total technical design for assigned mid-sized projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production.
  • Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards.
  • Conduct appropriate test reviews on assigned projects as necessary. Present findings and offer solutions to management.

NATURE AND SCOPE -
  • Typically reports to Manager, Information Technology
  • No direct responsibility for supervising others.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must pass the Drug Test.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses

EDUCATION REQUIRED -

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
