We have a full-time opening for a Technician.
Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays.
- Must have 5 or more years experience.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Requirements
Local design/build technology systems firm is looking for a
Voice/Data/Fiber technician. BICSI Level 2 or higher certification is highly
desired. This is a temporary position that may terminate after the summer
construction season. The work will be performed in Lexington and surrounding
communities. Normal work hours will be approximately 8am to 5pm, with
opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities will include installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of
Voice/Data/Fiber networks, access controls, security systems, analog & IP video surveillance systems, and fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers. The work will involve the use of ladders and aerial lifts, and management of junior technicians for installation assistance.
Clean background check, drug test, and valid driver's license with clean motor
vehicle record will be required. Candidate must have professional appearance
and good communication skills, and must reside in the Lexington or Central KY
area.
