Job Profile
Support sales efforts technically
Developing technical descriptions for inclusion in sales quotations
Cost estimating of projects and interaction with internal departments to get approvals for cost basis
Interface with internal industry specific business unit branch teams for the development of technical concepts / innovations and/or simulations
Responsible for technical communication with customers and suppliers during quotation phase
Participation in releasing projects (including technical risk assessment) and transferring projects over from sales to technical department
Active collaboration with sales and other locations, link to project management to assure a smooth flow of information from projection and handling of warranty
Your responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Approx. 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably for a manufacturer offering full engineering, project management and field implementation
Familiarity with electro-mechanical products and/or processes
Background in conceptualization coupled with 2D and 3D CAD Skills and knowledge of automation concepts preferred
English is the company preferred language, German language skills a plus
Good knowledge of MS-Office products
Technical writing proficiency
Able to work under high pressure, independently and as part of a team
Very good communication skills to successfully interface with internal and external customers
Strong problem solving skills
