Time Warner Cable Business Services Department currently seeks a Manager, Product Management, Video Solutions. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary:
The Manager, Product Management – Video Solutions will be responsible for product lifecycle management of all products in their portfolio, including deployment of new products, increasing the penetration of existing products by driving awareness and adoption and supporting revenue growth of 20-30% annually for the next 5+ years. The Manager, Video Product Management – Video Solutions will be responsible for leading the West Region’s product strategy for commercial video, defining customer requirements for product development/enhancement, maintaining in-depth competitive product assessments, and developing pricing tactics to ensure TWC Business Class has a competitive offering in the marketplace. The Manager, Product Management – Video Solutions will serve as the product champion.

Essential Job Functions:

• Defines and manages product performance metrics for enterprise and vertical video solution products (Hotels, Hospitals, Large Business). Identifies reasons for product performance variances and develop plans to drive performance back on track. Provides day-to-day lifecycle support for launched products including supporting sales and operations, and addressing questions or issues with product business rules and product quality related areas.

• Leads the development of product portfolio strategies for enterprise and vertical video solutions as well as tactics to meet sales and revenue targets.

• Drives enterprise and vertical video solution product development field requirements and new product deployment across Super Region through comprehensive go to market strategies. Creates market requirements documents.

• Conducts comprehensive enterprise and vertical video solution product market analysis to understand competitive dynamics and trends by direct and adjacent products to establish competitive baselines around functionality and customer experience. Manage competitive intelligence to understand trends, growth and disruptors.

• Work with cross functional marketing and product management teams. Maintain product collateral. Educate Sales and customer service teams on product composition and positioning.

• Builds and manages strong working relationships across the Enterprise including Sales, Sales Support, Operations, Customer Care, Engineering and external vendors needed to drive innovative enterprise and vertical video solution acquisition and retention approaches across targeted business segments.


Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years Relevant Leadership Experience required.

• 4-6 years Relevant Work Experience required.

• Cable/telecommunications industry with video product management experience preferred.

• Experience in customized video distribution solutions preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience and leadership in Product Management in the cable/telecommunications industry (B2B).

• Proven experience as a product champion.

• Strong product marketing experience.

• Extensive knowledge of video technologies, including transport, IP and next generation technologies. The successful candidate must have had direct experience building, managing and marketing such services to business customers, ranging from small/mid-sized companies through Fortune 50 companies.

• Extensive experience and knowledge of product lifecycle management including planning and day to day activities. Knowledge of product development lifecycle processes a plus.

• Customer focused with a proven track record of success in achieving/exceeding growth and profitability goals.

• Strong financial/analytical skills required as well as development of business plans, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with pricing structures, rate plans, network infrastructure allocations, and other cost drivers is desired.

• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.

• A dynamic leader that can switch from very focused tactical project management to future-thinking strategic decisions with ease.

• Collaborative, team-based posture with a passion for winning.

• Effective public speaking skills and ability to represent Time Warner Cable Business Class.

Education and Experience:
