We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Sr Manufacturing Engineer.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Experis is partnered with a global engineering and manufacturing services company who has an immediate need for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at their Cedartown, GA, (northwest of Atlanta), area manufacturing facility. The MfgE will provide a range of expertise in supporting and improving the manufacturing capabilities to produce products.
Will also provide significant expertise in developing a range of engineering solutions to improve the manufacture of new and existing products, improve current production processes to manufacture products, using applicable methods and procedures; and, transfer new products into production from a design for manufacturability approach. The engineer will have demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve plant layout, work flow, and reduce operating costs.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelors' degree in Engineering, along with 7+ years' manufacturing experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement tools; Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen and SPC experience preferred. Must have been in a recent position of leadership out on the plant floor.
