About this job
Provide Credit reporting and analysis for all product line(s) within the Retail Card platform. Support Portfolio Credit Risk Managers by completing deep dive and ad hoc analytics. Complete Retail Card platform analytics for the Chief Credit Officer of Retail Card. Essential Responsibilities
Manage a small team of credit analysts
Work closely with the Portfolio Credit Risk Managers across the Retail Card platform providing data and analytics in support of minimizing both Synchrony Financials and the retailers' risk, while continuing to grow the portfolio
Provide credit evaluation, delinquency/loss reporting, and portfolio monitoring
Work effectively cross-functionally to resolve issues associated with Credit analytics
Prepare and deliver well-developed internal presentations
Provide credit analytical support to the client teams
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor"s degree and 3+ years in a consumer and/or commercial Risk, Finance, or Analytics role; or in lieu of a bachelor"s degree, 7+ years in a consumer and/or commercial Risk, Finance or Analytics role.
2+ years experience in SAS, SQL or other related analytic tools

Advanced experience with SAS/SQL or other related analytic tools
Bachelor"s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or similar majors
Prior experience managing people
Experience operating as part of a cross functional team
Proficiency in advanced technical & analytical tools
Strong communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with consumer and commercial lending products and practices
