Key Responsibilities:
*Directs and supports day-to-day human resources programs, policies, procedures, and plans including recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, compensation, performance management, employee relations, benefits, employment practices and procedures, and associated record keeping.
*Responsible for on-boarding including new hire paperwork, orientation and other new hire activities.
*Assists with merit increases and performance management processes including maintaining accurate job descriptions, providing training to new hires and/or managers, coaching and counseling as needed, and auditing the quality of the performance reviews.
*Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
*Provides employee relations counseling including performance improvement plans, goal development assistance, complaint investigation and disciplinary action and/or termination meeting support. Conducts exit interviews, when appropriate.
*Assists in maintaining employee information and records.
*Identifies training needs and develops/coordinates training for employees, including manager, cultural and compliance training.
*Supports Senior Recruiting Manager and Hiring Teams by scheduling and conducting interviews and recruiting job applicants as requested.
*Monitor paid time off for exempt and non-exempt employees; ensuring balances are accurate.
Employee Relations
*Point person for interpretation and guidance relative to company policies and procedures.
*Manages employee issues and grievances to satisfactory resolution and provides guidance to supervisors and managers addressing employee issues
*Ensures organizational compliance with labor laws and guidelines.
Staffing and Recruitment
*Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan designed to institutionalize top-grading and the continuous improvement of the business' talent pool.
*Deliver a recruitment plan that aligns with business objectives, incorporates traditional and non-traditional recruitment sources and ensures the casting of a "wide net" to attract and introduce qualified diverse candidates to the organization.
*Manage and execute the recruitment process; advertising, job descriptions, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks.
*Manage and develop relationships with recruitment agencies (temporary and permanent placement).
*Develop, execute and maintain new employee "on-boarding" process.
Compensation, Benefits and Payroll/HRIS
*Coordinate and manage compensation plans; prepare and implement annual salary plans, develop and align compensation plans to drive desired employee and business performance.
*Maintains HRIS, payroll systems, time and attendance systems, and ensures data integrity.
*Coordinate and manage benefits plans; annual benefits open enrollment, and issue resolution.
Skills Required
*Minimum Bachelor's degree
*3+ years of working experience across all HR disciplines a must
*Excellent interpersonal and interview skills
*Strong written and oral communication skills
*Highly organized and detail oriented
*Experience recruiting candidates using new tools, such as social media
