Software Engineer (C, Unix) - Payment Systems needed for a Direct opportunity with Yoh's Client located in St. Louis, Missouri.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Providing production support for the Dual message Authorization (Banknet) systems, including Value Added Services such as Fraud Risk Scoring, Spend Control, and Apple Pay.
- Developing break fix program solutions for urgent system problems.
- Performing root cause analysis on production issues.
- Using transaction data within the Data warehouse
- Identifying system anomalies
- Providing insight to trends to the Service Governance Committee
- Ensuring system stability and quick problem resolution, measured by the O&T Objective Six Sigma scores.
What You Need to Bring to the Table.
- Expert in systems analysis, data communications and on-line transaction processing.
- Application and Systems Troubleshooting (analysis and problem solving) Skills
- Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
- Experience with the following: WebSphere message broker, Java, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, C, data analysis
- Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written - and strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical people.
