EHS/Safety Intern - Full-time / Part-time

Hiring for an EHS intern for a distillery in the Bardstown area. This company is well know for the high quality products that are distributed around the world.

This person will work with the Health and Safety manager to learn the aspects of the job and assist in driving a safe work environment and understanding the safety documentation that is necessary. Other responsibilities will be to help write SOPs, learning to document findings and results of audits, and assisting with any H&S training classed for employees.

This position will also be held accountable for ensuring that rules and regulations of construction are enforced during the current extensive construction taking place at the facility.

No certifications are required, but a Bachelor's degree in EH&S would be beneficil.

This is a first shift position that will start between $15.00 and 22.00 based on experience. Any overtime will be paid out at 1.5 times the normal rate.
