Job Duties

  • Provides support to organizations and their employees through the delivery of assessment, consultation, education and triage services.
  • Uses knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations in their appropriate handling of employee concerns and problems.
  • Provides member assistance with obtaining appropriate mental health and substance abuse services; and consults with employees and organizations on variety of workplace and work based issues
  • Provides clinical expertise in order to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning.
  • Will provide or review intakes, initial evaluations, and brief focused treatment interventions; monitor quality assurance; interface with Physician Advisors.
  • Works with EAP, MC, government, and Military Programs and their components (in an integrated program).

9am to 6pm

MUST HAVE!

  • Licensure is required for this position, specifically current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Masters or Doctoral-level behavioral health practitioner. License must be held in Missouri
  • ***Ability to use computer system to record clinical information, transmit letters, correspond by email, and track data in spreadsheet/database format*** This is even more important than their therapy skills
    - Masters Level (you must have your Master's to practice as a Licensed Clinican so you shouldn't run accoss people without it.) Masters Level Clinicians have a Master's degree in one of the following Mental Health disciplines: Social Work, Nursing, Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy. These individuals are independently licensed in the state in which they practice.
  • 3yrs post-graduate clinical experience
  • CEAP Preferred
    - Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health and brief therapy
    - Someone that is flexible, easily adaptable to change
    - Able to work in a grey area, there isn't always a set anser or a protocol to follow with each patient
