Aerotek is looking for a Material Handler with Forklift Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse
- Shipping & Receiving experience a plus
- Minimum 2 years of Forklift experience
- Able to lift boxes and stack pallets by hand
- Able to work on your feet for 8 to 10 Hrs
- Flexibility with schedule and able to work required overtime
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
- Available to work from 12:00PM to 8:45PM
PURPOSE: Responsible for performing the physical or combined administrative/physical tasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, cost and type of material stocked and issued, and prepares material and documentation for shipping.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY / DUTIES:
- Familiar with and understands basic fundamentals of warehouse/stockroom operation
- Works from requisition orders or stock lists to pull required items.
- Uses a checklist as items are pulled to ensure kit and inventory accuracy.
- Accumulates orders, reports shortages and transports completed orders to distribution point or staging area.
- Processes returned items and both scheduled and unscheduled materials to/from stocking locations.
- Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued via MRP/ERP systems.
- Lifts heavy items and operates stand-up/sit down forklift.
- Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Takes inventory of stored items through cycle counting and may audit kits for accuracy.
- Prepares documentation, reports and processes shipping of materials.
