Assembler - Level 1 - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Assembler - Level 1.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently recruiting for an Assembler position for one of our clients in Muncie, IN! Job Responsibilities: *Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. *Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. *Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. *Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. *Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. *Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated. *Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures. Requirements: *High School diploma or Equivalent *Machine Operator experience required *Experience with micrometers, blueprints and solid mathematics skills are helpful *Steel-toed shoes required *Hearing Baseline Test (Will provide location and billing for Test) required after passing background and drug checks *May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty *May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area Hours: 1 opening for First shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and 1 opening for Second Shift, OT as required.
