About this job
This position is for an Appliance Delivery and Warehouse person.
You must meet our insurance and background requirements, have the ability to drive a commercial vehicle and be able to use appropriate methods when moving heavy goods. The delivery tasks include preparing and moving appliances into and out of a customer's home plus connecting and disconnecting them. You will need to work effectively as part of a team in a customer's home.
Warehouse tasks include loading and unloading product, responsibility for the organization and security of product, supporting the sales floor, building and preparing product as required as well as regular store maintenance and other tasks, as needed. You must be able to maintain a clean work environment and communicate and cooperate effectively with all personnel.
We are independently owned.
Job Requirements:
Flexible schedule: You must be available to work during our store operating hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 6:30pm, Sunday 9:30am-4:30pm
Have reliable transportation and be ready to start work at your scheduled time.
Reliable attendance.
Clean Background and DMV. We are a drug free and smoke free work place.
Dress in a professional manner.
Ability to interact professionally with customers.
Ability to use tools and perform assembly tasks.
Follow Directions with a Smile.
Work Independently.
Keep the warehouse and delivery truck clean and organized.
Ability to multitask and change directions quickly and effectively.
Assist the sales team with answering phones, signing, stocking shelves and maintaining the store.
