CNC Machinist

Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, layout, and machining of parts on a CNC machine. The parts beings machined are attachments for industrial road machines and farm equipment. The product line includes: coupler systems and attachment tools while also specializing in custom capabilities for carriers from small compact tool carriers to large excavators, wheel loaders, tractors and truck chassis.

Responsibilities include:
50% of the time setup and plan programs to machine parts:
- Using blueprint and job plan programs to set up and layout jobs
- Fabricate parts to blue print specifications using machines including: Strippit, Whitney, Cincinnati Press Brake, Koike Torch

25% of the time monitor and adjust machines as needed throughout the machining process:
- Edit and adjust machines
- Small and minor tool changes

25% of the time checking quality of parts and fabrication edits of the parts are machined:
- Monitor and adjust machines for necessary changes throughout run
- Use micrometers and calipers to verify quality of the parts
- General fabrication on finished parts
